Neil Duchac

PHD, DRPH, EDD, NCC, ACS, HS-BCP, LPC

Neil Duchac is an Associate Professor of Human Services and Social Work at Kennesaw State University. Additionally, he serves as the Executive Director of the Academy for Inclusive Learning and Social Growth, which is one of nine inclusive post-secondary education programs in the state of Georgia.

For the past 25 years, Dr. Duchac has worked in a variety of settings and in several leadership roles. He has a doctorate in counselor education and supervision from the University of Toledo, a doctorate in public health leadership and advocacy from Capella University, and a doctorate in higher education leadership and practice from the University of North Georgia. His master’s degree in education and his bachelor’s degrees are from the University of Dayton.

Dr. Duchac is a National Certified Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor. His areas of clinical and research interests include clinical mental health counseling, developmental disabilities, correctional counseling, and working with veterans. He is a previous Veterans Affairs Faculty Fellow at Kennesaw State University and a previous Georgia Governor’s Teaching Fellow through the University of Georgia, Higher Education Institute. He is humbled and honored to be serving on the NBCC Board of Directors.
